Independent, and plainly so
AKS Textiles runs the AKS Textiles travel desk with no airline standing behind it. No carrier owns it, sponsors it, endorses it or is affiliated with it. It operates no aircraft of its own.
How a seat is reserved
Fares and seats are visible to us through third-party reservation systems built for travel agencies. Once you accept a quote, the booking is placed in your name and the airline issues the ticket.
Not an airline help desk
Our help reaches tickets bought through this desk and no further. A ticket bought on an airline's own site, or from another agency, has to go back to that seller for a change, a refund, a check-in question or a baggage question, because those records are not open to us.
How this desk is paid
We earn our service fee. It is inside every total we quote and shown on its own line. Where a supplier pays us a commission or an incentive, it does not alter the fare the airline charges you.
Airline names and marks
Where an airline is named on a quote or a ticket, the name identifies the carrier operating the flight. Airline names and logos belong to their owners, and their appearance here implies no partnership of any kind.
