Complaints Handling Policy

Say what went wrong. It is logged, acknowledged, investigated and answered in writing, and nothing here limits your right to go elsewhere.

Draft for legal review. This document has not yet been reviewed by a qualified legal professional.

How to raise one

Write to contact@akstextiles.com, or ask an agent to call you. Include your name, the booking reference, an account of what happened, the outcome you want, and any document that bears on it.

What happens first

Every complaint is logged and acknowledged with a reference number, so its progress can be followed.

The investigation

Someone who had no hand in the original booking reads the record and the correspondence. Where an airline is involved, the question is put to the airline and its answer is passed on to you unedited.

The answer

The reply comes in writing and says what was found and what will be done about it. The acknowledgement tells you when to expect that reply. Where the answer waits on an airline, you are kept informed while it is waited for.

Going outside this desk

A complaint about an airline or a ticket agent can also be filed with the U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of Aviation Consumer Protection, or with the consumer protection office of your state attorney general. Nothing on this page limits either route.

Complaints about the flight itself

A delay, denied boarding, disability assistance at the airport or a mishandled bag is the airline's responsibility. On a ticket bought here, an agent will direct your complaint to the right desk at the airline, but the decision is the airline's to make.
