The part each side plays
This desk acts as your ticket agent, placing reservations with airlines on your instruction. The airline acts as the carrier and does the flying.
The moment a booking becomes firm
A booking is firm when the airline has issued an electronic ticket and you hold the ticket number from us. Before that moment, an airline can drop the reservation automatically and the fare is not settled.
The airline's conditions of carriage
Your flight runs under the airline's conditions of carriage, sometimes called its contract of carriage, together with the fare rules on your ticket. These apply alongside our terms and cover check-in deadlines, baggage, denied boarding, delay and liability. Each airline publishes its own on its own website.
Reading the ticket when it arrives
Check the names, the dates, the times, the airports and the cabin against what you approved, and report a discrepancy the same day. Once travel has begun, some errors can no longer be put right at all.
Flying the coupons in order
Airlines generally require the flights on one ticket to be flown in the order they are issued. Skip one and the airline may cancel every flight after it.
Schedule changes from the airline
Airlines retime and cancel flights. Where that happens to a booking made here and we are told, your options are passed to you, including any refund the federal rules require. Checking flight status with the airline before leaving for the airport is still worth the minute it takes.
Check-in and boarding
Check-in, airport seat assignment and boarding belong to the airline. Allow time for the security checkpoint and meet the airline's stated deadlines. Missing one can cost the seat with no refund due.
